ABOUT OUR GRAPHICS

We print our graphics on the highest quality printable cast wraps. These are used industry wide for full-car wrapping, liveries and a host of other applications. There are little air-canals within the adhesive which will allow everyone to apply their graphics without trapping air bubbles.

But, these days nearly ever printshop has access to good printers and good quality materials, so the difference in quality is usually dictated by the offered designs, the quality of the installation of the graphics and the fitment of the templates. Happy to say; we've got all that dialed in.

What is a graphics kit?

Our designs are largely based around templates. Since we’ve been the go-to place for templates since 2015, we are some of the best in the business worldwide when it comes to creating templates. This allows our decals to fit perfectly on your fairings without having to trim anything; it will just fit. This also makes installation very easy, even for inexperienced users.

Since we’ve been making designs and graphics for motorsports in general since 2015, we have a huge amount of experience under our belt that allows us to create unique designs that evolve with the industry as a whole.

We do, however, refrain from making replica designs of already existing liveries. Not only have these been made by other designers who have a copyright on their designs, it also undermines our ability to create unique, striking graphics ourselves. That’s why we are currently adding more and more semi-custom designs to our website for you to choose from.

If you want a full-custom design for your bike and you want us to draw inspiration from existing liveries, then that won’t be a problem.

Warranty

Quality is important to us, and to show that, we provide a one-year warranty on graphics that we have installed.

This means that if any stickers fail during this period due to no fault of our own (meaning bubbling or releasing due to extreme heat from the exhaust, crashes etc), we will send you replacement graphics free of charge. If you are able to bring the bike in, we will also apply those graphics for you free of charge.

The graphics itself

Most of the graphics are separate, precisely cut pieces that fit each part of your bike. Since a lot of bikes already have a base color with metallic flakes and/or sheen, we try to limit printing that exact color of your bike due to the fact that a printed color will never fully match a painted color. That’s why some of our stickers are printed on a transparent vinyl to make sure that there is no color discrepancy. Stickers that are not printed on a transparent vinyl will usually contain only a small outline that tries to match your bike’s color.

With all of our designs we will always show you what the color of your fairings must be for the best results.

Template creation

Since most of our graphics kits are templates based, this requires us to have made templates for your particular model of bike. Since there are a lot of track-fairing brands, this means that we have to make multiple templates for the same bike to make sure that our decals fit perfectly.

If we do not have templates for your bike, you can have us make templates for you. This is free of charge if you choose to have us design, print and apply graphics to your bike.

If we are to make templates of your bike, it has to adhere to the following:

  • Your bike must contain a full set of fairings of the same brand which MUST be known (no mismatch of brands)
  • Your fairings have to be free of any damage
  • Your fairings must not have been altered (no bits cut away, added holes, broken parts etc)
  • Your fairings must be clean and free of contaminants and/or coatings (we will charge a fee if we have to remove any coatings)
  • Your bike must be at least somewhat relevant and modern (after 2006)
  • Your fairings need to be either painted or have a good-gelcoat on them. Fairings that have been sanded and/or rattlecan painted cannot be templated as the paint might come off and the vinyl used for templating might not stick.

Full custom design

Contact us if you'd like a full-custom livery for your street- or trackbike. Do keep in mind that we do not make any replica liveries and that the price of a full-custom livery might fluctuate depending on your wishes. For race-teams who need multiple fairings done we can negotiate bulk-pricing.

As for the design itself; Although we can usually cover the entire bike with our templates, we always recommend that your fairings are in the correct basecolor (usually the dominant color in the design). This will ensure the best looking results without the bike looking 'patchy'.

A full custom design starts at €675,-. not including vat. This price is for a full custom design using templates made specifically for your bike and fairings (wings not included). A design that requires pieces to be separately wrapped can increase the cost.

Cost breakdown

Why do we charge these amounts?

If templates have to be made, this process can take anywhere from 10 to 40 hours depending on the bike. This includes tracing every part of the bike (all fairings, swingarm, frame, windscreen etc), then scanning them, then digitally tracing them by hand using the pentool, contour cut all the pieces and apply them to the fairings and adjust if needed. After that we have to align all the parts digitally and add notes where necessary.

The design phase takes around 3 to 4 hours usually. After that, we need to prepare the file for print. This includes creating a bleed around each part, nest all the parts so that they take up as little material as possible, then set-up the printer and print the graphics which also takes about an hour total. After that they need to outgas for about 24 hours. After that they have to be laminated and contour cut which adds more time to the process. When that is done, we manually apply a transparant application vinyl over the graphics and contour cut these by hand (!) which makes them sturdier and easier to apply. This also takes about half an hour to an hour.

Depending on the bike, the installation of the graphics can take anywhere from 4 to 10 hours. This includes degreasing the parts, removing fairings where and when necessary, applying the graphics, trimming when necessary and postheating to ensure that they stay down and stay nice for the long run.

In some cases, especially with trackbikes, the graphics won't line up properly. Fiberglass fairings are all trimmed by hand and all the boltholes are also usually hand-drilled. Some parts may not fit correctly, have been altered or are using spacers. All these things combined often leads to fairings not being uniform across bikes which can cause the graphics to be not correctly aligned. We usually fix these at no additional cost, but it requires more time and reprints for us to do so. These extra costs and hours are not seen by you, the customer, but they are still there.
