Composite materials warp, distorts and the edges are trimmed by hand. Some parts may not even be perfectly identical left to right and can vary fairing to fairing. Edges that are trimmed by hand are never fully identical, so keep that in mind when making graphics for trackbike fairings. The fitment can vary and the template\/fitment will never be as perfect as when it is for injection molded OEM plastics\/fairings. Even the installation of the fairings and as such the alignment may vary.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eNote:\u003c\/strong\u003e When applying this template, make sure that you use a quality cast vinyl that can conform to curves. The template itself looks tricky because the 3D shape doesn’t translate too well to a 2D shape, causing parts to overlap (which do not overlap on the real fairings).
